miguel's 'simple things remix ft breezy & future
First off, let me just say this beat is heaven to my ears. This song puts me in such a chilled mood I find myself nodding my head to the beat 5 minutes after the songs finished. Miguel's voice seems to put me in a trance in this song, his mixture of delicate and harsh vocals balances perfect with the guitar riffs and the mysterious bass chords. I feel like Future's part was unnecessary as it ruined the whole vibe for me, although I did like the beat that accompanied his verse.
The video to the original version of Simple Things was simplistic and fit perfectly with the tune, it also casted model Gigi Hadid who looks stunning in the video.
So is it just me who thinks The Weeknd would have been a better choice rather than Future? And do you hope to see a video for this remix?
